Adele works as a humanistic, person-centred counsellor with particular interest in menopausal issues. She also works in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, narcissistic experience, self-esteem, fertility issues and work/career related concerns. Adele integrates existential concepts in her work and employs CBT, EFT, and mindfulness techniques where appropriate.

Her approach is warmly facilitative in nature and involves the creation of a safe and non-judgmental counselling experience for each individual client, with a view towards personal understanding, balance and growth.

Adele supports the view that mental health plays an essential role in our overall health providing the foundation for personal functioning and well-being. She supports each persons need to be listened to, to feel heard, and to know that they are not alone with their problems and fears. In this respect she believes counselling can play a key role in how we choose to manage, live, and move forward in our daily lives.
